location of city avenue

The Hotel is located on one of the main avenues of Tbilisi – the Agmashenebeli avenue, which is a part of the Chugureti district, and situated on the left bank of the Mtkvari River. The modern name of the avenue was in honor of the King of Georgia David IV Agmashenebeli (the Builder). Aghmashenebeli Avenue is a unique architectural open-air museum and one of the most beautiful streets of the Georgian capital.

38 out of 45 buildings located on this avenue have the official status of a cultural heritage monument.

The district, located in the historical center of Tbilisi, was built up in the XIX - early XX century. The best architects of the time worked on the facades of the buildings, and each house has its own history.

In 2011, the Tbilisi City Hall carried out the restoration of the avenue in the framework of the remarkable project “New Tiflis”. As a result, the buildings have retained their historical appearance and continue to delight modern visitors.
